Is this a retail or OEM licence? If the latter, then you may *NOT* install
it on more than one system - it is forever tied to the *FIRST* system it's
installed on (or, usually, comes with) and may not be transferred, whatever
fate befalls the first system.

If it's retail, are you reading the number from the golden-yellow sticker
where it says "do not lose this number"?

.
You can only install it one time. You can not install it
on more than one computer.

Get your facts straight before posting - you didn't even bother to read mine
before posting your misinformation.

1) OEM licences may not be installed on any system other than the one
they were bundled with.

2) Student/Teacher licences (in the case of XP and earlier) may be
installed on one system at a time.

3) Retail licences may be installed on a desktop and a laptop providing
they are not in simultaneous use.

Please do some research before posting - you'll only end up misleading
people otherwise.
