Ouch; assuming you're telling the truth, that would indicate
that you bought a pirated copy of xp pro/?publisher?. Only
microsoft would be able to help you if the place you bought
it won't help you.

You again - you're not related to Andrew the Eejit by any chance are you?
Your replies are just about as pointless and nonsensical as his.

1) Why does it "indicate you bought a pirated copy"?! Here's some
homework for you (should keep you off these groups for a day or two) - learn
the meaning of the term OEM.

2) The answer's blindingly obvious (though the blindingly obvious isn't
your strong suit, I know, so I'll help you). Office XP Pro with Publisher
was OEM only (this will give you a clue as to what you should be looking at)
and, as such, *CANNOT* be installed on any other system other than the one
it was supplied with.

OEM Licence Restrictions

- No free technical support from Microsoft. Support may be available
through the OEM it could be at a cost.
- You cannot remove the software from one PC and put it onto another.
- OEM versions are non-transferable without the transferral of the system
they are attached to. Want to sell the software? You must sell the computer
too.
- You cannot buy OEM without an item of hardware.

Woof! The sphincter loosens again, and "it" raised its
head, hoping to spread hate and discontent worldwide.
Thanks for the laugh; you provide a LOT of them.
