Profile names

Tom

I have multiple profiles in Outlook, one for each member
of my family. How do I get the profile name to appear on
the password screen? Instead of the profile name, I get
Outlook1, or Outlook2, etc.

Similarly, is there any way to get Outlook to display the
name of the profile that is running? Right now, I can't
by looking at the screen tell "whose" Outlook profile is
active. Thanks.

You could choose the name of the profile when you created them. Now you can
copy the profile and give it a new name and delete the old one.

You can rename the Outlook Today folder (rot folder) by rightclicking it->
Properties-> button Advanced...-> fied Name

Thanks, but I did set the profile name when I created it.
It displays correctly on the Choose Profile screen
(e.g.,Tom) when I start Outlook. But on the very next
screen, the Personal Folders Password screen, it asks me
to "Type password for Outlook1". How can I get it to say,
for example, "Type password for Tom"?

This is the name of the pst-file. Rename it when Outlook is closed. It will
prompt you for the location next time Outlook starts.
