Program freeze with a arrow

Hello everyone,



Does anyone now why PowerPoint freeze when the "Shift" key is pressed and
try to put 2 times the sign = and > on a slide?

Example: ==>

The program gives automatically an arrow but hangs.



Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Not sure why it is freezing, but try this instead:

Right-click the toolbar area and make sure the "Drawing" toolbar is open.
Click the "Autoshapes" icon, select "Block Arrows" and choose the one you
want.

Yes I now, that works the way you said, but the problem is that I've tried
on several computers the same thing = = > and they have hang up also .



Wold like to now why but I can live without . ;-)

Got the answer.
It's the same problem again .
Need to deactivate Orthographical corrector !!!

Anyone now's if Microsoft did something to correct this problem?

Figured as much, but I thought it was worth a try. haven't read anything on
this particular problem, but if I run across anything, I will get back with
