Programatic PowerPoint

I am now wondering for a while if it makes sense to think about generating a PowerPoint presentation from VBSrcipt or JScript (building a nice presentation displaying info from an Access DB, accessed through asp pages)
While Word & Excel datamodel are currently discussed, a very few is written about ppt...

Thanks. Looks interesting. I downloaded their trial version but connecting the database on a production system (where protections are strong) is tricky. Btw, as Take-off managed to build this tool, they most likely have found the answer to my question ! :-
