Progress Window Question

I've noticed a strange behavior that is not causing any real problems, but
I'm curious.

When I retrieve POP email with Entourage and have the Progress window
visible, I usually have the little arrow under the progress bar that lets me
view what is incoming.

However, on occasion, the little arrow and the line of information is not
visible as the messages come in. All I can see is the progress bar. I
haven't noticed any rhyme or reason to when this happens.

Yes, I see this often. I have no idea what causes it, but it always seems to
correct itself.
