Project 2007 Beta: Reinstall/Uninstall Problems

I opened the program today and found that I could not enter any data.
Basically, it was unresponsive to data input. So, I decided to do a Repair
via the CD. I got the following error message: "An error occurred during the
the installation, and PRJPRO setup was unable to complete." I then tried to
uninstall the program and encountered similar errors. The setup logs revealed
nothing more than "Error: Type: UnexpectedError."

Any ideas?

PS: All other Office 2007 Beta programs are operating nominally and I'm
running XP not Vista.
