Project created in Word 2003 will not load macro under 2002

Hello.
I have created a fairly simple project (XP Prof/Office 2003).
After making a letter template using styles and bookmarks, I created a
UserForm to have the users fill in appropriate info, and code for
validation. I also used the mpr.dll to retrieve UserID from logon, as key to
get some user info from an Access database (name, title).
It works beautifully on my machine and also on my colleague's running the
same set up. (And I was pretty proud).
Then:
This template is made for users in the company and they use Word 2002 under
WIN2000 or XP Prof.
And they cannot run the template, getting error: "Can't load macro file
(lib.) and then "Can't find Project or Library", the latter probably a
consequence of the macro problem.
I have had the impession that from Word2000 and later, things worked the
same.
I have rewritten the project several times, getting rid of the .dll function
and the use of Access (alternate solutions), to no ado. So now I'm stuck.
Do I have to rewrite the whole thing on a lower Office level or does anyone
know any work abouts.
I don't want to waste more effort on chasing wild geese, and need to know
what's causing this problem. (Different library levels 11.0 / 10.0 ?)
Any tips here would lessen the now rising frustration.

Best regards Tom
