Okay, so we've been using the Projects feature in Office 2004 for a few
weeks now with mixed results.
Contacts are still freaking out when they belong to more than one project,
frequently appearing twice on some computers, then disappearing altogether
when removed from one of the projects. It seems likely that this has
something to do with how the different projects are syncing on different
computers. I wish there were a way to force a sync on a single project; then
I could at least test it.
Also, we've had computers crash during a sync, which appears to destroy the
project file entirely (we get an "could not read the data inthis .rge file"
error). Is there a way to rebuild or force an overwrite of the .rge file
(short of unsharing and resharing the project, which is a big pain)? If not,
it seems the whole system is rendered very unstable--if a sync of any of the
machines is interrupted, the .rge is in danger of being ruined.
Any help is, as always, appreciated.
