I had made some code changes in Word 2003 for templates created in
Word 97. Compiled and saved. When I try to open the modules back in
Word 97, I get the Project Locked message and can no longer access the
Reference menu item. Is there anything I can do or undo in Word 2003
so I can open the modules in Word 97. I'd feel better if this had
happend to all 200 templates but it's sporatic. As always, deadline is
approaching.
If I delete the password on a template in Word 2003, I can at least
see the modules in Word 97 but can't open them. If the password is
left on in Word 2003, I can't even view the modules. Very frustrating.
Someone had posted a somewhat similar fix by setting the Word VBA
Extensibility check box in the References area but that didn't work
when I opened the templates in Word 97.
Thanks,
Charlie
