Project Professional 2003 Authentication

We are trying to use Project Pro 03 and Project Server through a VPN.
Individuals can hit and authenticate in web but can't authenticate in the
ProjPro Software over a VPN. The software if registering the local computer
name instead of the AD information. Therefore, we are trying to use switches
in the command line to force the software to recognize a domain (/u
"domain\account"), however no matter what we try when the software loads it
has the local information in enterprise resources. Does anyone have thoughts
on this?

Hi,

Best to post this in the Project Server news group.

However, my understanding is that terminal services is the recommended
solution for remote access. Unless your VPN connection is very fast with low
latency the result can quickly become unusable.
