Project Professional 2003 - Reporting capabilities

Randy

I as told that Microsoft had bought software from a
company called JeTech (2-3 years ago)who was a Microsoft
partner for companion products. I believe that JeTech
changed their name to eLabor and was bought by ADP -
EXCEPT for the reporting package piece. I was told that
portion of the package was bought by Microsoft.

It was a terrific reporting application and made MS
Project an even better tool, with incredible reporting
capabilites.

I therefore went out and bought MS Project Professional
2003 to get that reporting enhancement ... but alas, it is
basically the same what was in 2000.

Does anyone know anything about the incorporation of the
JeTech software into MS Project and if so, which product
it is in, so that I can buy it ?

Thanks,

Randy -----------

Randy --

I believe that Microsoft purchased the enterprise resource management tool
from eLabor. You would see this feature incorporated in Microsoft Project
Professional in the Build Team dialog (Tools - Build Team from Enterprise)
and in the Resource Substituion Wizard (Tools - Substitute Resources). I am
only speaking from the "word of mouth" I heard serveral years ago, so if
others in the group have more knowledge about the subject, I would
appreciate their sharing on this topic. Hope this helps.
