Project ressource pool

When I have entered reoccuring task's for example 3 hours an intere week. My
ressource pool shows that the ressource is fully booked the entire day, exept
the last where it correctly states 3 hours. What have I done wrong ???

Hello Stian,
It works fine for me. Could you tell us step by step how did you create the
reccurent tasks and assignments ?

Step by step. "Insert" -> "Reccuring task" -> write task name -> set duration
to 3h -> select "daily" -> select "workday" -> set start and end date ->
select the standard calender for the project (where worktime is set to 6,5
hours). Then save and "yes" to update ressource pool.

Stian,
I can't reproduce the trick. Did you check that the ressource is not
assigned on another task during this periode?
NB : The standard calendar is not usefull in this dialog box if it's exactly
the Standard Project calendar.

The calender is one I have produced. No the resources are not booked by other
task's. Also it states in the ressourcepool that the specific task is taking
6,5 hours (Full work day)

The solution is quite simple :
The problem comes from the fact that you assigned each resource twice :
- On each elementary task (task's OK)
- On the summary of elementary task (That's too bad !)
What version of project are you using ? Normally, 2003 avois this kind of
problem...
So :
Select a summary of reccurent task (which has a small + sign)
In the Assign Resource dialog, select the resource and click Remove.
