Project Server created PDF using Acrobat 8 Pro crashes on opening

I am currently using Project Pro 2007 and Acrobat Pro 8 (1.1.2).
When users create a PDF of a project in the Gannt Chart view of the schedule
but if I change the view of the timeline to show QTR and then Months instead
of Date and Days once the PDF is created it will crash within a few seconds.
But, if I leave the view alone (do not make view changes) once th3e file is
created I can open the PDF and print it out without the PDF crashing. Has
anyone experienced this type of problem with Acrobat?

Hello AmWall,

There have been some reports of problems printing the Gantt chart view
to a pdf file when the Gantt chart is displaying 3-D bars. Try
turning off the option through Tools > Options, View tab and see if
things improve.

Thank you that solved the problem, I also found that you could view the
created file using Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.09 that Reader 8.1 does not work
though.
