Project Standard Won't Start

While at the computer, this is the error I get when I try to start
Project 2003:

I get the same error if I VNC to the computer, but if I RDC to the
computer, Project starts OK.

OS is XP SP2. All updates installed for OS, Office and Project.

Don't know what you mean by "VNC" and "RDC" but I'd suspect corruption of
the Project installation of some sort. I'd run something like Norton's Disk
Doctor first, followed by a disk defrag. If that doen't do anything, try
removing and reinstalling Project.
