Hi,
I am using the Project Center to allow one user to administer the
calendar and contacts of two other users. Both of these sets of
contacts and calendards are stored in .rge project files on a server
(Xserve G5) connected to via Gigabit Ethernet. The initial user,
administering the other two user's Entourage contacts and calendars,
has found that when the project are syncing, specifically when syncing
one user's contacts, Entourage will freeze up for at least 5 minutes
(with spinning beachball as the only signal that something is wrong -
the progress bar at the bottom of the screen will also freeze up).
Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing this and how
to allieviate it. The user in question is understandably extremely
frustrated as she finds her email program unusable more times that it
is functioning.
