proofing tools for office 97

changed computer and had to install office 97. It seems that I have lost
the french proofing tools and cannot check french grammar. Everytime I do a
check I have a message cannot find msgrFR32.dll or mssp2.FR.lex. I have in
the installation and proofing tools are installed. Can I download or buy a
CD for proofing tools office 97? Is there another solution?

Hi Stephanie,

If this is a U.S. English edition of MS Office it
didn't include French Proofing Tools. The add-on
Proofing Tools (in some cases MS produced tools
from regional/localized versions of Office) for
Office 97 were generally provided by 3rd parties.
The main supplier http://alki.com appears to be gone.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the main supplier but no luck. I guess my
best option is to update to a newer version of office.
