Protect cells

Hello

Before upgrading my Microsoft office, i can use the function protect cell
which protect specified cells (i.e. A15 or B24) or a particular column. Now
after upgrading Microsoft Office 2003, i cannot protect protect any specified
cells in my worksheet instead the entire sheet will be protected. Please
help me to solve my problem.

you first have to format the cells which should not be protected
('Format - Cells - Protection' and uncheck 'Locked')

In addition.........before upgrading you also had to protect the worksheet
before the cell protection comes into effect.

No difference in newer versions.
