Protecting a slide within a presentation??? How?

Does anyone know how I can protect a slide within a
presentation? I would like to send my presentation out to
various users, and would like them to be able to customize
certain slides, BUT there are some slides that I DO NOT
want changed? HELP!!!

PowerPoint does not offer this level of protection. Although in 2002-3 you
can protect the entire presentation. Perhaps you could create a link to a
protected slideshow with your protected slide and let them have at the rest.

One of the techniques there may work for you. For instance, if you don't
need animations, using images in place of those slides might be appropriate.
