Protecting functions without stopping Auto filter

Hi All

I hope you can help me with this problem as I have tried many ways to make
it work without any success. I want to protect my functions within a shared
worksheet so other cannot type over my working functions but the worksheet
also has an auto drop-down filter.

When I protect the contents it stops the drop-down filter working

Is there a way around this, if so please let me know.
