Protecting my template from Alterations

Is there a way to create a template that allows users to fill in the required
information and fields but prevents them from altering the background or
certain fields?

Click to expand...
Check the "Allow only this type of editing in the document" box
and select "Filling in Forms"
Click "Yes, Start Enforcing Protection"
Enter your password twice and save.
