protecting worksheets/cells

Dear all

i am working with Excel XP. I am aware that to protect
cells on a worksheet, you first have to unlock the ones
that you do want them to edit [Format Cells]. Then you
protect the rest of the worksheet to prevent any changes
being made via Tools and Protect Worksheet.

However, if there are only two columns on the whole
worksheet that you wish others to be able to change, is
there a quicker way to protect them?

Click on the column Header of each column with the ctrl key down
Ctrl-1 to get the format cells dialog
Uncheck locked on the protection tab
OK
