Protecting Worksheets

I have a workbook with twenty sheets. I want to protect
certain sheets (adding a password?) so only certain
individuals can access them. Is this possible?

Or can a workbook be set up so that upon open it would
request a password and depending on the password entered
it would be linked to a specific sheet (so the results
would be that that person would only see one sheet?)

Maybe the impossible I know...

thanks for your suggestions

Worksheet protection isn't very strong. For more information, see JE
McGimpsey's site:

You could set up a separate workbook for each user, with a password to open
Then, set up a master workbook, with a password to open, or in a secure
folder.
In the master workbook, link to the data in the user workbooks
