Hello Maik,
For having ask myself the question, here are the results I found after
running few tests:
1. First, it is never being fired when saving a project from within MS
Prpject Professional UI.
2. It is being fired when saving a project - obviously after udates are
made - from PWA interface. (Project Center/Edit project properties/Save or
Save and Publish)
If you dramatically need to know that a project has been updated form MS
Project UI, there are other Events that are being fired when working from MS
Project Professionnal UI after it has been updated or checked-in:
- Project On_Checkin() = You cannot do anything but at least you can
notify someone that the project has been checked-in so it may have changed
- Reports On_ProjectChanged() = Once again it is not very good to wait
until this event is being raised but at least you will be aware that is has
been updated.
I got to say that it is easier to catch it from PWA since it is using the
PSI EventReceivers directly, which is not always the case from MS Project
Profesionnal UI in some cases.
Hope this will help you.
