pst problems

I backed up my outlook express onto a disk and now that i
am trying to install it on a new computer it says:
Properties for this information service must be defined
prior to use, then it says file access denied, you do
not have permission required to access the
D:\outlook\archice.pst.

If anyone has any ideas on how to make this work, I would
be greatful.

Well, first, you're talking about Outlook, not Outlook Express. Second, you
must copy the fild back to your hard drive. Then right click and choose
properties. Then clear the read only flag. You cannot access a PST stored on
a CD.
