Pub 2002 Locking Up

I am running WinXP with Pub 2002. Pub is locking up for seemingly no
reason. It causes my CPU usage to reach 100% without stopping, so the entire
PC is locked. I have to manually shut down PUB through the Windows task
manager. There are no error messages from Pub at all. But when I restart,
Pub displays a font error message. It always shows that
"GoudyOldstyleT-Regular" is missing. I have not attempted to use that font.

I've looked for sfotware upgrades and cannot find any.

Would it help if I found that font and loaded it? Any other suggestions?

Did you have an older Publisher version installed? This font was installed by various
Microsoft applications including Publisher 2000.

It was not installed by Office XP.
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/product.aspx?PID=135

If you have an older version of Office around, you could install the Goudy font from
it.
