Pub 98 files on pub 2000???

I keep getting the error message that my new Pub. 2000
can't open files produced in Pub 98. Yet... Microsoft
says if I re-save the file in 2000 some data will be lost
but I can re-run the file! How can I save something that
won't load!!! Help before I go nuts!

Hi Stan. Couple questions for you:

1. I assume you are running Publisher 2000, but previously owned Publisher
98 and want to open the Publisher 98 files in Publisher 2000?
2. Did you recently upgrade your Operating System?
3. Are you running Norton Antivirus (or were you on the previous Operating
System if you changed systems)?
4. You say you can't open the files, but are you getting an error message?
And if so, what is the message?
