Public Contacts Folder

We have a public contacts folder here that I used quite heavily on my PC
before I switched to my Mac. When I bring up the folder view it just shows a
list of names. If I click on a name I can't get any details...phone
numbers, addresses, notes, etc. Is there something I can do to get this
display this alternate info?

I am able to check names (email addresses) against it when I send email, so
I know the data is there and can be read.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Public folders are not well supported in Entourage 2004. I'm not sure
you can do that.

That's querying against LDAP which is not browsable :-\
You can use the Directory service tool to look for information though,
