Public Folder issue Exchange 2000

Kaddie

Hi,
I have Exchange 2000. My problem is with a mail enabled public folder. It
is a corporate folder that either internal or external clients can send mail
to. The Anonymous permission is set as contributor so that external email
can be received. Anyway it looks like the public folder is responding to
some of the emails. How can I ensure that the folder never sends a reply to
an email.

I dont think anything is turned on for this. There is no rule setup to
respond. This is purely to receive emails not for responding. Cant find any
microsoft articles to assist.
thanks

"it looks like the public folder is responding to some of the emails."
Could you clarify this a bit more? What makes you think it is doing so?
