Public folder problem

Each time a read a message in a public folder, or set all message as having
been read from the menu, the folders are immediately updated and all the
messages I have read or set as having been read are once again shown as
being unread. Anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have edit rights for all items in the folder? Do you have "maintain
per-user read and unread information for this folder" enabled in the
properties of the public folder. There are known issues with Entourage and
public folder that are causing this. Not sure if this is feasible in your
org, but "Edit All" items rights should help as a workaround. Hope this is
of some help.
