Public folders and shared calendars -Entourage 2004

ATNews

Hi
We were told that upgrading our MAC user to entourage 2004 would solve our
inability to connect with the public folders and shared calendars-and global
address book.
We have loaded 2004 and can send and receive thru the exchange server
(Exchange 2003)but thats it.
We have not been able to get any public folders, shared calendars or global
address book.

Anyone have any advice or tips, we would appreciate

thanks

Public folders and shared calendars are still poorly supported. As far
as the GAL is concerned, you need to have LDAP turned on on the server.
If you configure it properly on the Entourage side, you should be able
to search it and validate the adresses against it (I do it all the
time),

However, a press release a couple of months ago promised big improvement in
this area in the update due out later in the summer.
