Public Folders - awful

OK, I will admit this is all-new to me, but since our migration to Exchange
2003 / Active Directory, things have been pretty good...
But, when I click on Public Folders, it takes a long time to get the list,
then, it doesn¹t stay cached locally every time I need to go to a folder,
it takes 10- minutes to download the whole list again.
Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks,
Scott

I setup our clients to connect to the Exchange server IP address
(rather than pointing to the FQDN). That seemed to speed it up a
little bit. Also, make sure you have /public/ after the server
address. Our clients usually get the list within about 30 seconds or
so. Hope that helps.

Thanks - I'm using the IP address, and it's a slug.
In Outlook 2001, it's lightning-fast.
Seems odd that it doesn't cache or store it locally - totally unusable.

Thanks for the tips though.
