Is there any hope that Entourage will support public folders (adress and
calender)?
Or does anyone know a work around except the OWA?

There is some hope. Microsoft recently announced that an update due in the
second half of 2005 will include an "improved public folder experience".

Not really. The only other workarounds I can think of would be using
programs for other platforms on your computer, like Outlook 2001 for Mac or
Outlook 2003 for Windows.
