Public Synch Tool became S-L-O-W...?

Howdy,

I have used Public Shareware's Public Synch Tool happily for
many months.

Today, however, something has changed.

Formerly, the entire synchronization process took no more
than 4-5 minutes.

Now, when it gets to my Inbox, though it continues to make
progress I had to stop it (twice) after 45 minutes.

What might cause that radical slowdown?

I should add that if anything, the Inbox is now slightly
smaller than it was.

Perhaps asking the programmers of the Public Synch Tool would be more useful
than posting here. It is not an Outlook problem.
