Publisher 200 printing banners

O/S windows 98
System PC Pentium 3

When I print a banner, I loose part of the contents of the
banner between pages. I have tried the 2 options suggested
on MS support site. Under print- tile printing options
change the overlap to 0" or double it to .5".

Neigher of these options worked. Only the contents of the
lost parts changed eg: instead of loosing letter W in the
word Welcome, the letter "L" was dropped instead.

How do I keep from loosing parts of my banner?

Thank you for your help in this matter!

I don't have any direct solution to your problem but just some general
observations

all desktop printers have an unprintable margin around the edge. You should
become familiar with yours (look in the manual is one way, or try to print a
full bleed page os a solid color and then see how it comes out is another).
Some pritners, like Epsopn inkjetss, have an option in the driver to extend
the margins, at the slight risk of misegistration when printing (because the
printer can't "grab the paper" as securely. this margin is usually not
uniform on all 4 sides.

what you are running into is probably an effect of this and not really a
problem with Publisher per se.

try making your overlap much larger and see how that works. look very
carefully thru the options the device presents to you...there may be a clue
buried in there.

in your next posting you ought also name your printer because one device
migh respond to a particular thing differently from another.
