Publisher 2000 - Text within the Speech Bubble Custom Object

Hi, I wonder whether anyone can help me please.

I am using Publisher 2000 and have created a speech bubble from the Custom
Tools, I then want to add some text into this speech bubble, so have added a
text frame and moved it on top of the speech bubble and made it transparent.

My problem is that I want the text to fit within the shape of the speech
bubble, rather than the left aligned text within the text frame. Not sure if
this is clear enough, but I want all of the text to fit within the speech
bubble shape. I have searched everywhere and can find nothing that helps.

Have you tried Insert, new drawing? Seems the text box works closer to the way
you are describing. When you use a call out within the autoshapes a text box is
automatically inserted when you use the drawing canvas. When you are finished
editing you can change the wrap for the picture only.

Mary, how fab are you and so quick with a reply! - thank you so much - it is
what I wanted to do, the only thing I cannot seem to change is how to get the
text closer to the border of the speech bubble - I have redcued the margins
to zero, but this does not get it close enough.

Any advice you could give would be fab and even if there is no answer for my
last question, thanks so much for this.

Another suggestion...
Create two call outs, the topmost larger. Give it no fill, no line, type your
text. You will be able to see how it is fitting better to the bottom call out.

Thank you so much, what a shame it is so hard to find and a shame that you
cannot add the Autoshapes toolbar independently. I don't consider myself
that much of a dinasaur when it comes to applications and am not worried
about clicking around, but it did not enter my head to use 'Insert > Picture
New Drawing' to get what I needed.

However, got what I needed - so once again thanks for the advice and speed
with which it has been given.

Glad I could help. The versions of Publisher after 2000 do not depend on a new
drawing. All the drawing tools are on the main screen.
