Publisher 2002 Application Error

After starting Publisher any action (e.g. open file,
help\about, etc.) the following message appears:
MSPUB.EXE-Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f580db" referenced memory
at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".
Clik on OK to terminate the program.

Does anyone know what the problem really is and what the
fix is?
