Publisher 2007 corner borders

I just purchased MS Publisher 2007 and I'm disappointed they don't include
the classic triangle corner border. They have a triangle corner border, but
it is outlined by dashed lines and the triangle themselves don't overlay the
corner of the picture, nor do they look as good as the ones you can use on
the Kodak website.

Any suggestions where I can get something better than what Publisher
provides, but that I can use in Publisher?

Thanks,
Kevin

Try Autoshapes, more Autoshapes, scroll down to the half frame. You can remove
the shadow by clicking the shadow menu, click no shadow.

As near as I can tell there is no difference between the old BorderArt and the
new. Did you create a custom border? I tried to find the photo triangles on the
Kodak web site...

Yes JoAnn,
I'm using border art. Are there alternatives to getting the effect I want
with something other than border art?

Thanks,
Kevin

Bear with me, but I can't find Autoshapes. And, I don't see autoshapes in
the toolbar list.
I have not created a custom border.
The photo triangles I found on the Kodak site are available when you create
an on-line photobook, but are not downloadable.

I'd like to try autoshapes if I can get the toolbar visible when I'm working
with a picture.

Thanks,
Kevin

Are you talking about clipart that would look like the little black corners
that you used to have to stick on photo album pages, in the days before
digital cameras and sticky photo albums?

Yes -- that's what I'm looking for. Is there a graphic like that in border
art?

Corners. Publisher 2007. Clip Art on line. First page gives a choice:)
This should start you off.

Thank you, Momo. (Every now and then I force myself to spend time doing
something else other than sit at my computer. Last night was one of them and
I now have a lovely new beaded lanyard to show for my time.)

Thanks for all your help. I've got it now. It's very tedious considering
(IMO) this shape ought to be part of border art. So, as a workaround, put
one corner in my document, size it, copy it three times, rotate each one of
the copies, place each of the 4 corners around my picture, then group the 4
corners and the picture.

Adobe elements includes the shape I want in their standard lineup, just
choose it for the pictures you want to apply it to.

Thanks again,
Kevin
