Publisher and Outlook Express

I am using Outlook Exprees 6.00 on Windows XP. When
someone sends me an e-mail with an MS Publisher
Attachment, it refuses to open. The paper clip attachment
notifier is present but it does not highlight when
pressed. I have no difficulty in opening all attachments
from other programmes - it is just Publisher.
My version of Publisher is 2000 - SP3.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you open the email into a new window, can you see or click the
attachment?

Check this:

On "Tools/Alternatives/Security" (may be different, ranslated from Norwegian
version) there is a checkbox which allows you to block attachements that may
contains viruses. Uncheck the box.

Many thanks for your help, Ed and Terje. I'm pleased to
say that Terje's suggestion worked and I'm now able to
open the Publisher attachments.
