Publisher maxes out cpu after file open

Secretary at church is working on a booklet, when she opens the file now
publisher maxes out the cpu and stops responmding, file is also much bigger
than I think it should be, it's almot 6 meg. File she started with was right
at 2 meg. Added 5 pages (total of 13) along with 3 jpgs less than 1 meg
each. When I added the jpgs to the original file it only added 500 k to the
size. Any ideas? would like to save the work she has done on this file so
far if possible.

Sorry!! Newbie to posting! Its publisher 2002, What she did was take last
years booklet. Which is an 8 page brochure type publication, and modify it
for this years edition. It was up to 13 paqes when she encountered the
problem. On wednesday she was working on it and left her machine on.
Somebody shut it down. When she reopened the file is when she started having
this problem. If you leave it sit long enough publisher will finally start
responding until you select any text or pics, then it goes to max cpu time
agazin and stops responding.

Thanks very much for your time!

That file sounds like it may have been stepped on a little bit. If her
system wasn't shut down properly, almost anything could have happened.

I don't suppose she still has the old version and is willing to recreate
what she's already done?
