Publisher Missing Office XP Professional

I have installed Office Xp Professional on several
machines. Publisher is missing, is not on the list of
applications to install. How do I find it?

You need to purchase Publisher separately. Publisher 2002 was not included
with the retail release of Office XP Professional. As it stands right now,
you need to purchase Publisher 2003 because Publisher 2002 has been
discountinued.

BTW, Office 2003 Professional now included Publisher 2003 as one of it's
bundled applications.

And for some reason, some retail outlets are still selling Office XP and
Publisher 2002 in preference to Office 2003 and Publisher 2003.

Probably because of the OS requirements, and existing back stock (which I
thought could normally be returned to Microsoft)

Product purchased and installed is MS Office Professional
XP, Enterprise Edition. Publisher is not on the list of
applications to install. Didn't look at the box since it
was purchased through an Academic licensing program at my
school and I was only sent the media. BTW thank you for
beiong gentle. I don't think it's hiding I think I don't
understand why it's not listed when every thing I see
online at the Office site says it should be.

Just about everything at the Office Online site referring to the Enterprise
Edition refers to Office 2003 Professional Enterprise Edition, which does
contain Publisher.
Could you give us a link to the page that you're looking at?

Publisher is no longer included on Microsoft Office disk2
like it was in Office2000, but is included on a seperate
CD with OfficeXP.

Do you have a link?

A few:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;292285&Product=offxp

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;325733&Product=offxp

But I guess since there is no specific mention that
Publisher is included with Office XP Professsional I
should not, based on the fact that it is included with
Office 2000 and Office 2003, assume it is included with
Office XP (2002) Professional?

Did you not read *ANY* of the above posts?! Publisher is not included in
*any* retail version of Office XP. If you have it with yours it's because
you have an OEM version.
