Putting a Powerpoint Presentaion on DVD

Is it at all possible to put a Presentation onto a DVD that will play in a
DVD player??? Please help..

This is not as easy as it probably should be. PowerPoint uses most of the
computer's processing power to render the show as well as it can be
rendered, so this leaves very few CPU cycles available to capture the output
into a movie that can be converted to a DVD.

There are some programs that do a pretty good job of this, if you have a
beefy enough system (meaning don't even think about it if you are running
under 2 GHz or 1 Gig Ram). Camtasia does a fairly nice job, but some others
really do not. You can check this FAQ for other suggestions.

If this is something that you will be needing often, or require very high
end results, the optimal system is an external digital capture device, but
going this route is not inexpensive.
