Hi Penny

You need to ensure that you are creating HTML emails:
Prefs > Compose > Mail Format: HTML

Then create an HTML Signature and put the gif in the sig:
Tools > Signatures

Then set the Sig as default:
Account Settings > Options > Default Signature

When you compose new email the signature will be added so make sure it is
designed to appear at the top. Click below the sig and start typing.

Hope it helps.

Regards
Craig.

I see you've found your solution but here's some advice about why you
shouldn't do this:

"Don’t waste time with unbusinesslike signatures"

William,

Isn't it courtesy to indicate when you write an article - actually a 'rant'!
- that is referenced?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking but I'll assume you thought I
should tell the OP I'm posting to a link that is a rant. Correct?

Although I called my post a rant upfront, I backed up my opinions with
reasons. And I clearly stated this was "advice" in my response to the OP.

If my post had been a rant with no substance then I'd probably never
have written it.

Hi William

No, what I really hinting at was that in print journalists indicate whether
they have any connection to referenced material - i.e. Whether there is a
conflict of interest.

I know, your blog was friendly advice and that is always appreciated, but so
that people don't think that an MVP is recommending another person's advice,
isn't it polite to tell people that you wrote the referenced advice?

In your response to my post 'Is this the reason for calendar problems?' you
referenced a blog but stated it was written by Amir Haque, which is nice and
clear.

Apologies if I offended you, didn't mean to, just like fair press and
there's too much misleading for the sake of profit generation.
I am sure you posted with the best altruistic intentions and MVPs are
extremely valuable in this e-space.

Regards
Craig.

Hi Craig!

I understand. It certainly won't hurt that I do that. I appreciate the
advice. :)
