Q: LFN hyperlinks in outlook

Using Outlook 2k SR1.

I can hyperlink link to a file on the network by typing
file:\\r:reldes.doc. Outlook converts this to a hyperlink
that the recipient can click on and open that file.

What if the file is located in a sub folder and named as
follows:
r:\long folder name\sub folder name\reldes20040712.doc

I can't seem to get outlook to make this into a hyperlink.

???
