I had to do a reinstall of office 2000 sr-1 on a terminal
server computer after someone did a "regular" installation
and then turned on the terminal server feature. I've
uninstalled terminal server, uninstalled office,
reinstalled terminal server and then reinstalled office
using the correct .mst that I built for terminal server.
I've updated to the latest SP and am running all features
for all office programs. The installation went fine,
but... when a terminal server user clicks on the outlook
today button, a windows installer starts and it takes
about three to four minutes to start the outlook today
page. There are no error messages, and once the page is
loaded it looks fine. It is just the first three minutes
of waiting for the page to load that I'm concerned about.
Any ideas? Did I build the .mst file incorrectly? Is
there a reg edit that I could do? Help my users are
screaming!
