Question About Format of Publisher 2002 and 2003

As a classroom teacher, will I be able to utilize a
textbook for Publisher 2002 if our school chooses to
purchase Publisher 2003? A few discrepancies are OK, but
if there are major discrepancies, students become
frustrated. This is for a Desktop Publishing course.

For the most part, you should be safe. Publisher 2003 has additional
features that Publisher 2002 doesn't, but all the menus you find in the
Publisher 2002 book will be in Publisher 2003.

The biggest difference is that the Catalog Merge (formally Mail Merge) has a
new menu name and the ability to merge photos, where as Publisher 2002 could
not.
