question regarding Entourage newsgroups

W

WILSON NASH

I am considering purchasing an iBook G4.
I am a student at University of Phoenix online
We use Outlook Express/Entourage newsgroups for communicating with the classes.

Will I have access to Outlook Express if I purchase a iBook G4 from Apple?

Thank you.

Yes, ooutlook express can still be downloaded from here:

px?pid=outlookexpress>

But remember that it is not OS X Native, so you will have to run it in
classic. Why not stick with Entourage, which has all the newsreading
capabilities of OE Mac and more?

There are also a lot of newsreaders (freeware, shareware and commercial)
available for OS X. They will all give you access to newsgroups use of OE
or entourage is not required. The newsgroups work on standard protocols.
