Random # Generator

I built a random number variable into a workbook & it is
calculating with every mouse click! That's not good.

Would I need to build a macro so that the random number
only generates when I want it to? If so, how do you do
that?

To keep the numbers from regenerating here is what I did. After th
random number is put into it's place, activecell.copy the cell the
paste special pasting only the value. I can't recall the code off th
top of my head right now but that is something that can be done usin
the recorder
