Random letters in emails

Hello, this is a bizarre problem. When a reply is sent to an email a
series of random letters appear at the end of the email. There seems to
be no set pattern but it is a bit worrying that one day they might
spell out something offensive to the recipient! I have checked to see
whether it is a corrupt signature, but this is not the case. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Are you using the built in reply menu command (or toolbar button)?

If so, you shouldn't be seeing this happen.

Does it happen on all emails, or just some? How big a block of random
letters?

Also, what versions of OS & Entourage are you using?

Sorry Barry, I have since been told it happens Outlook 2002 in Windows
XP and happens with both reply methods and is usually 3 characters or
less. Can you still help since this is a Mac forum!

If you mean that the reply using outlook generates the spurious characters,
then no, there isn't a lot I can do to help!

There is an outlook newwsgroup (microsoft.public.outlook) newsgroup where
you may get batter answers!
