Hi schemr

Please take a look at the following link. Chapter 14 and 15 will help
you create RBS.
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMFrame.asp?CMD=ArticleSearch&AUTH=23

but gere are the simple steps to create RBS
1. Connection to PS using Project 2003
2. Open/Checkout Enterprize global
3. Click Tools-> Customize -> Enterprize fields ->
4. Click on Custom Outline Codes Tabs
5. Select Resource Type codes
6. Scroll down to see Enterprize Text Field 30 is assigned to RBS
7. Select the RBS field and click View Code mask
8. From the Sequance column Select Character
9. From the Seperator Column Select dot .
10. As per your organization structure define the levels e.g if your
orgazation have this hirarchy
a. Company

Manager
You have to define 4 levels of Code masks. So define the levels
according to your need (Use Excel or word table to form levels)
11. When finish defining Level Click Edit Lookup table button
12. Now enter your organzation hierarchy there
13. Use -> Buttons <- to indent items as per your defined levels.
14. If an items turns red means you are not obeying the level limits
15. click Close, Then OK and then OK
16. Save Enterprize template and Close Project

Using RBS
1. Connection to PS using Project 2003
2. Open/Checkout Enterprize Resource pool
3. Add the required Resources and click open/Add
4. Double Click on a resource to see res information dialog box
5. From Res information dialog box Select Custom fields tab
6. Select the value for the resource
7. Click OK
8. Save and Close Project Professional
